Birthday Parties
Book your birthday party at Life On Its Side Studios! Pick a date, make your deposit, choose your theme, and you're ready to go! We provide all the supplies for the project, you supply all the goodies for the party.
Minimum Requirements: Birthday Party: Must have a minimum of 5 attendees for a private party. A non-refundable deposit of $100 is due to hold the date. Cost is $45.00 per painter. A private party is allotted a two hour block of time, including time for set-up and clean-up.
Time allotmentsPrivate Parties receive 30 minutes before the scheduled class time and 30 minutes after the party to get settled in and to clean up. Please encourage your guests to arrive 15 minutes prior to your party's start time to settle in. Our classes do start on time! For example, if you book a party to start at 7:00 pm, you may arrive as early as 6:30 to set up your party. The painting class will go from 7:00 for up to 90 minutes, depending on the painting we'll be doing. Once the painting class is completed, you will have up to 30 minutes for cake, presents, etc.

If you have not arrived within 15 minutes after the start time or communicated that you will be starting late, the event will be considered cancelled.
Private parties that start late (30 minutes or longer) may be subject to a late fee of $50.00 per 30 minutes, or you can request more time beforehand to extend your party!
Parents for children's parties: Only one or two parents will be allowed to stay in the studio. A seating area will be set up outside for parents wishing to remain nearby during the party. Too many parents in the studio during the party is very disruptive and distracting to the younger students.
Food/Beverages: We encourage you to bring any drinks, food, and/or snacks that you’d like as well as birthday cake. Please provide plates, cups, etc.
Cancellation Policy: While we regret to lose the opportunity to paint with you, our private party cancellation policy is in place to protect the studio. Deposits are non-refundable.
We are all about having an awesome time but we expect for you to be respectful of our space, belongings, and employees/guests. We may ask for you to remove yourself from our premises if you become disrespectful. All children are expected to behave as they would in their own homes.
