A casual fun evening to work on your fabric crafts and socialize in a safe, comfortable environment.
What are "fabric crafts"? Knitting, crocheting, embroidery, quilting, felting, etc. If you want to lug your sewing machine, you're welcome to do that! I have a couple of large tables if you need some space. Otherwise, plenty of chairs and places to just hang out and stitch and bitch. I do have scissors, glue and paint, if that's any help.
The world is kind of crazy right now, so having some time to sit and do something with your hands is always a good therapy.
Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own goodies if you'd like. Just be prepared to share!
Basically a free event but if you'd like to contribute $5 for the goodies, there will be a tip jar.

Location: 800 Hickory Ave., Harahan Plenty of parking in the lot at the building and on the street.
